We celebrated the holiday by enjoying some lawn games and grilled food with friends. I made a huge batch of pico de gallo using the first jalapenos from the garden.
After fireworks in the ‘burbs, we’re back home and hoping that this year, people aren’t shooting fireworks off their balconies all night. Or shouting drunkenly. Fingers crossed.
I hope everyone had a fun-filled Fourth of July!
