new items in my life

A number of things have recently entered either our home our my sphere of knowledge. These are things that make me happy:

• a new vacuum cleaner

• Fettuccini alla Montanara from Buon Appetito, soon to be recreated at home
• Mastering The Art of French Cooking from my sister-in-law and her husband for my birthday gift (thanks, guys!)
• the closest farmer’s market is today!
• a quart each of the third colors down which are going on our living room wall –
  

My to-do list is fairly long, but I’m still pretty enthused.

I do still owe you a garden post, but I need to go vacuum first!
